This is one of the angel statues at Bonaventure Cemetery. Bonaventure is a place where the dead rest, but it is also alive with nature, history, memory, and echoes from the past. At Bonaventure, the veil between this life and the next seems thin. This angel, with his hand reaching to the sky, is halfway between heaven and earth.
