Founded in 1920, the Savannah Art Association is Georgia’s oldest art group and still thriving today! We’re a welcoming community where artists of all levels can show their work, share ideas, grow in their craft, and simply enjoy making art together.

ROOTED IN SAVANNAH SINCE 1920
Founded in 1920 by Mills B. Lane, the Savannah Art Association has been a part of Savannah’s arts community for more than a century.

What began as a small group of artists with a shared passion for creativity has grown into an organization dedicated to supporting local artists and inspiring our community through art.

Today, we continue that tradition through exhibitions, education, and connection, honoring our history while embracing the future of the arts in Savannah.
