Fragmented (1 Corinthians 13:12) engages the exhibition theme ECHO through the concepts of partial vision, mediated perception, and the instability of knowing. The title references the biblical verse, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face,” which articulates a condition of incomplete understanding—one in which truth is perceived indirectly, fractured by material, time, and human limitation. The painting visualizes this through fragmentation; the figure is partially obscured and interrupted by translucent barriers, evoking the experience of seeing through layers of distortion. The glass becomes a device that reflects and divides, producing an echo of the subject rather than a direct presence.
