Dear Members of Savannah Art Association,
I’ll be leading a discussion on “sketch books” January 15, 9:30 am, at Coffee Deli, and would love for you to bring in your own sketchbook if you have one, new or old, to share.
If you don’t have a sketch book, come anyway to learn about how they can help you and what you can put in them (just about anything!), and who among the “greats” kept one—Van Gogh, Leonardo, Rembrandt, Frieda Kahlo . . . . I recently found one at the Starland Art Store, a nice collection of drawings in a spiral bound tablet someone dropped off, and for which I paid only a dollar.
