Exhibit Theme: Artist’s Best

On View for 3 months: October 2, 2025 to January 1, 2026

Location: Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport Gallery (Departure level)

 

Artwork Intake & Pick-Up: 

Thursday, October 2 | 9:00–10:30 AM

You may drop off work at the curb, there will be someone there to assist.

Winners Announcement: 

This is a juried show featuring three cash prize winners and three honorable mentions. Winners will be announced at our next Art Share following the Board Meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Shadows Clubhouse. 459 Mall Blvd. Savannah, GA 31406 at 7 PM

 

Entry Deadline: 

Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Midnight 

No late entries will be accepted.

 

Entry Fee:

$15 per piece (up to 3 entries)

This is a juried exhibit open to all current Savannah Art Association members.

Cash prizes will be awarded by a guest juror, Elsie Howington.

All artwork must be original—no prints or reproductions accepted.

 

Size Limits:
  • Wall display max: 24” x 36”

  • Oversized pieces may be accepted for the outer gallery walls on a first-come, first-served basis (limit: 1 per artist)

  • All artwork must be appropriate for young viewers

 

How to Submit:

  • Please note that fees are non-refundable—please read all instructions to avoid disqualification at drop-off.

  • Have this information ready before going to the form:

Entry Form Submission details

Submit one form for each of your artwork. You will upload your image on the form.

This is the image that will appear in the online gallery and be used for sales. Please ensure each image is clear, well-lit, cropped to the edges of the artwork

 

Prepare Artwork for Drop-Off:
  • Label the back of each piece with your name and artwork title.
     

Framing & Display Requirements:
  • Artwork must be wired end-to-end and ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers)

  • All work must be for sale

Sales & Commission:
  • Artists are responsible for shipping their work when sold.

  • Do not include tax or shipping in your price.

  • SAA takes a 25% commission; artists receive 75% of the final sale price.

 

*Important Drop-Off & Pick-Up Info please read carefully:

This is the only window for both dropping off new work and picking up artwork from the previous show. 

These times are carefully coordinated with the airport—and volunteers—and must be followed closely to ensure a smooth and efficient installation.

 

Please keep in mind:

  • Drop-off and pick-up times must be respected. We rely on this limited window to hang the show properly and cannot accommodate late arrivals.
     

  • Our volunteers cannot make additional trips or reconfigure the exhibit once it is installed. Late artwork will not be accepted once the show is hung.
     

  • If you miss a drop-off after paying the entry fee, your submission will be moved to the next eligible exhibit. Entry fees are non-refundable.
     

  • If you are unable to attend during the scheduled time, please arrange for someone else to deliver or pick up your work, or contact us in advance to discuss alternate options (if available).
     

Any artwork not picked up within 30 days of the exhibit closing becomes the property of the Savannah Art Association.
