There’s a hushed calm after the season. A head with antlers, fruit, and wheat has a third eye, suggesting visions of the energy of the harvest that has passed. Some fruit appear unusually bright, like pieces of candy that hint at a world slightly beyond the ordinary. I think of a presence watching over the stillness, like a goddess of the harvest.
