Harvest Halo 

Acrylic on Baltic birch 13.5 inches in diameter

Tranquility settles after the season. A head, merged with fruit, crowned with antlers, and encircled by floating berries also contains a third eye. Certain fruit take on an unnatural quality, suggesting a shifting view of the time after the harvest. The world seems altered in the aftermath. I imagine a harvest goddess quietly present, watching over what has been gathered.
