We are thrilled to introduce our new member and Artist of the Month, Ignacio Campo Salinas, an accomplished artist originally from Madrid, Spain, whose creative journey has taken him from Europe to New York and beyond.

 

Ignacio studied art in Madrid before traveling throughout Europe and moving to New York in 1995. He later studied graphic arts at City Tech in Brooklyn, graduating with honors in 2000, and continued his artistic education in printmaking with renowned artist Sheila Goloborotko.

 

Since 2009, Ignacio has used his artwork to explore environmental themes, including his “Save the Forest” series and “Dreams with a Better World,” a collection of dreamlike imagery created to envision a healthier planet and inspire positive action. His work has also taken him internationally, including an artist exchange in Beijing, China.

 

We’re excited to welcome Ignacio to the Savannah Art Association and celebrate his work as this month’s featured artist!
